I just was thinking of all of you today and saying a prayer thanking God for you and for this site. I met my husband on here in early 2007. Ron (King_Solomon) and I met on this site when he was in Iraq and I was in Indiana. Even with the long distance we decided to make a go of it. We had rough times, but I was on the flight line when his plane landed on December 9, 2007.

It was our first face to face meeting after numerous months of talking for as much as 23 hours a day. Just three weeks later on December 30, 2007 we were married….two and a half months ahead of schedule. Ron’s dad married us in a cozy ceremony in the gorgeous country church he is the pastor of. It is now fall of 2009 and Ron will I will celebrate our 2 year anniversary soon. Unfortunately we will not be sharing it together. Ron is deployed once again overseas and will be gone until at least the middle of 2010.

Since we have gotten married, we have had a son! At present, he is almost 9 months old and the spitting image of his parents. His older sisters and brother adore him. We know that there were skeptics and I won’t say that its all been a bed of rose petals, we have had our ups and downs and struggles, but we put God first and then had faith in our love and in each other and have persevered. When the time comes I will once again be on the flight line again, but this time not as a scared fiancee waiting to come face to face with the man she loves, but as a very proud wife. Thanks Christian Mingle and Minglers for bringing us together and being there for us as our relationship grew and developed. We wish everyone the same love we have found. God Bless you All.
