I met Lyle during my first week on ChristianMingle.  It was his last month of a one year subscription.  We exchanged several messages and smiles on the website before he asked me if I would like to meet him for coffee.  I said yes, but I was incredibly nervous!  I parked outside and prayed in my car before finally going in to meet him.  Lyle and I started talking and hit it off right away.  We were so interested in each other we couldn’t stop talking, so we decided to walk around the shopping center to make our date last longer; it turned in to a 3 hour coffee date.  I called my sister on my way home and told her that Lyle seemed more like a best friend than a romantic interest.  She said that was exactly how it should be, so I went out with him again a few days later.  After only one week and three dates we were inseparable.  He made me laugh and smile and exceeded everything I had been looking for in a man.  He swept me off my feet and I was in love!  I took him to dinner with my parents a few weeks later and I got a text from them on my way home that simply read, “He’s the ONE.”

Lyle and I spent every day together, and knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together!  We got engaged on March 16th, 2013.  Lyle sent me on a scavenger hunt all over town before proposing to me on top of a mountain in the Smoky Mountains (which I had to find from GPS coordinates in the last clue)!  We had a wonderful engagement leading to our incredibly beautiful wedding on October 12, 2013.  We are head over heels in love.  I have never met anyone that makes me laugh, smile, and swoon as much as he does!  He is the Prince Charming I thought only existed in my dreams!  As the icing on the cake, Prince Charming even took me to Disney World for our honeymoon!  Fairy tales do come true!  Thanks ChristianMingle, and thanks to an awesome God that brought us together!
