The Newsboys have long been one of the hottest and most well known groups in Christian music.

Their high energy performances, love for their fans and exceptional music are just a few of the endless reasons why they have become so popular. Songs like “God’s Not Dead” and “Love Never Fails” are some of their biggest hits.

This band was originally founded in Queensland, Australia, and is comprised of four great guys: Michael Tait, Jeff Frankenstein, Jody Davis and Duncan Phillips. If you have never been to a Newsboys concert, then you are surely missing out.

The energy practically radiates off the stage, filling every member of the audience with an undeniable urge to dance and praise our mighty God with lifted hands and exalted voices.

Their latest album, Restart, is scheduled for release on September 10 and is sure to be their best one yet. What can you expect from this album and what sets it apart from the rest?

Lead vocalist Michael Tait says, ”At the start of this record two years ago, we knew we’d be taking great risks. We’ve pushed the music and have taken it further than we’ve ever taken it before, and we think people are going to be really excited about it.”

God has gifted each of us with unique talents, passions and interests. It is our job to use these gifts to serve others in a way that only we can, and to share the joys of salvation and faith with all those we meet. There is no question that the members of Newsboys are using their God given talents to do just that.

Drummer Duncan Phillips sums up his view of the work they do with these inspiring words: “Being a Christian artist is freeing. I am called to spread God’s word, not be something I’m not.”

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. 1 Peter 4:10, KJV

One thing that can always be expected of anything the Newsboys produces is passion. Not only is the band passionate about the work they do, but their work also inspires passion in all those who hear it. ”I have not felt this way about anything I’ve been involved in musically since Jesus Freak,” says Tait.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; Romans 12:6, KJV
