Melanie and I started talking on ChristianMingle in early August of last year. We just hit it off right away and found ourselves talking for hours. This surprised me because I’m usually a man of a few words, but I could tell from the start that there was something special about her.

We had such great conversations that we decided to meet in person a week later. By the end of the night we decided to be fully committed to each other-that’s how strong our bond was!

Within two months of dating I knew I wanted to marry her. I thought I was crazy, but she seemed to share the same thoughts that I had. It felt so great to hear that she also wanted to spend the rest of her life with me, which just solidified my belief that we were destined for each other.

We soon started talking about our future desires-where we’d live, what our house would be like, and of course what we wanted our wedding to be like. As months went by, we would see each other as often as we could, and before long, I knew I just had to propose. On January of this year, I asked for her hand in marriage, and just over a month later we were married. Our wedding took place in a Conservatory that was surrounded by beautiful flowers and plants and Melanie was so stunning in her dress! It was the most magical day of our lives.

I have never met anyone like Melanie before. She is everything to me, and we have strengthened our relationship with the Lord together. We just wanted to thank ChristianMingle, for without it, we would have never found each other. I know God brought us together for a reason, and I have never been happier!
