About four and a half years ago, I logged on to ChristianMingle just looking to see what was out there. I was not looking for a mate and I was a little freaked out to find one of my guy friends on it.  It even showed that we matched 100%! Yikes! However, it was not him that I would fall for.  Instead it was Randy, who began sending me messages in December 2006. We sent silly messages back and forth for a while before exchanging messenger names. We would then continue to have late night chats.

It was not until about April 2007 when we began chatting on the phone. On May 14, 2007, we decided to each bring a friend and meet for dinner.  We had a few more dates, before the big date on May 21, 2007, when we officially began dating.

Despite losing the exhaust on his car and hitting a bear, the day was great! We spent some time fishing at his church camp, had an amazing dinner, and then watched the sunset. We tried to relive this all again 2 years later when we got engaged, however, the truck broke down!  Despite the awful day, he still got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. Of course I said “YES!”

We are getting married July 2, 2011. I could not ask for a better man. He truly gives me the world. I would be lost without him! Whoever thought I’d meet my soon to be husband online? Not me, that’s for sure!
