I had just moved to Massachusetts from Georgia in July of 2013 to pursue a new job. Nathan had joined ChristianMingle, his first dating site ever, after finding no success on his own. I joined ChristianMingle after I saw a commercial for a six-month sale on a membership. After I signed up, I spent a few days on the site looking for someone and came across his profile. I thought he was cute so I sent him a ‘Smile.’ Not long after, he messaged me and we began talking.

A few weeks later (August 22), we went on our first date which was mini-golf and dinner. It didn’t take long for us to start spending more and more time together. We connected on a spiritual level which was what we both were seeking when we got on ChristianMingle. Wanting to be in a relationship where God was at the center.

Nathan and I went to Maine to visit his sister on August 19, 2015. He took me to dinner on the ocean then for a walk along the beach. We came upon some rocks and he asked me to sit so someone could take our picture. He then got down on one knee and proposed. We are getting married July 2, 2016.
