I was the one who always said I would never try online dating. Little did I know then that online dating would be the means God would use to bring my future husband into my life – God has such a great sense of humor!

I tried ChristianMingle after a friend suggested it. Blake and I started communicating in April of last year and met for the first time in May. We went to a baseball game on our first date and had so much fun together! We couldn’t stop talking before, during and after the game! He lived in Memphis at the time and I lived in Jackson so seeing one another was a challenge, but we decided to give our relationship a try. We both figured we had nothing to lose.

There were some bumps along the way, but I knew it in my heart that Blake was the one for me – and he knew I was the one for him too. Eventhough we spent some time apart, God found the means to bring us back together. He proposed to me in June and we are now getting married in November! We feel so blessed at the way God has orchestrated our lives and cannot wait for what lies ahead of us.
