Jesse and I began our journey on ChristianMingle.com around August 2011. We “smiled” at each other for a few weeks, then endured silence for a few more until we began smiling at each other again. Later, we realized that we were waiting for the other to make the next move and send an email! Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore so I sent an email on October 4. Without realizing it, it was Jesse’s birthday! Four days later, we decided to meet in person at a motorsports park to enjoy the final weekend of the regular season.

After our initial connection, we officially started dating October 23. On one of our early dates, we went line-dancing and had our first dance to Blake Shelton’s “God Gave Me You.” While it could have been ironic, we both believed it was a God-given sign.

After that, the rest is pretty much history, until September 29, 2012 when we got engaged! We hope to wed April 13, 2013, God willing. We are so excited and would like to thank ChristianMingle for bringing us together!
