Scott and I met on ChristianMingle in September of 2012.  We emailed one another for a while, getting to know each other quite well through messaging.  Through this, we realized that we had a lot in common. We’re both active, growing believers who desired a mate who was also a solid believer.  Soon, Scott asked if he could call me and I said yes.  I loved the sound of his voice and we had many lengthy phone calls. I looked forward to every one of our conversations!   Scott asked me to meet him for dinner. I was thrilled!  It was a very easy, comfortable date and we enjoyed finally meeting face to face. 

Of course he asked for a second date and I said yes!  Our conversations were so natural; it was as if I had known him all my life.  We began dating each other as often as possible.  The attraction to one another was incredible, like nothing I have ever experienced.  We both knew right away that God had been preparing us for this relationship.  I’m so happy to say that God is the center of our relationship! We began Bible study together and continued to grow together spiritually, so it was not a surprise when we started discussing our future together. 

He was the perfect romantic gentleman and got down on one knee and proposed – I said “YES!”   We were married on April 27, 2013 in a beautiful church with our children, family and friends and then honeymooned in the mountains of North Carolina.  Thank you ChristianMingle for bringing us together! We are a perfect match and are so excited about building our lives together on the solid rock, Jesus!
