Annie and I met on ChristianMingle on January 26, 2013. We started chatting in the 20’s chat room and instantly became friends. We took our time getting to know each other on the site and exchanged phone numbers two weeks later. We both were cautious because this was an online site, but we knew to trust God. Throughout the process, God really spoke to both of our hearts and told us not to fear but to push forward. Annie and I talked every day, even on video chat. After what seemed like forever, we met in person on February 21, 2013. Instantly, we knew that God had us ordained for one another. After much intercession, we knew God was bringing us together.

Because I was in the military, the distance was a little bit of a challenge. However, with God all things are possible and the distance became nothing but a thought. After much prayer, Annie and I decided to get married because we knew that God ordained our relationship. I proposed to Annie on March 10, 2013 and we were married 5 days later.

Looking back, neither one of us came on this site with the intention to meet our spouse. We merely wanted to talk to other Christians.  We now know both of our prayers were answered through ChristianMingle and can’t thank ChristianMingle enough for being the vessel that brought us together.
