I met Dale on ChristianMingle in September 2012. We promptly fell in love after video chatting, where we discovered that we wanted the same things in life. Through those conversations, we realized that we were definitely a match.

When we met, Dale was 71 and lived in Missouri and I was 73, living in Texas. We were 550 miles apart, but that did not matter once we started communicating. I decided to sell my home, car, and furniture and move to Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. We were married in a lovely, small family Cowboy style wedding on Dale’s birthday, November 11, 2012. My family loves Dale and our wedding was a lot of fun. Five great grandchildren were present and danced to country music.

Sometimes God saves the best until last, and that is how we look at our relationship. We thank God for this time together, and hope to enjoy each day that we have left in this life.
