We met through ChristianMingle after having only joined four days prior. After about two months of exchanging online messages and texts, he flew from Kansas to Florida so we could meet. Our first “date” was the next morning. I picked him up from his hotel and we had breakfast at the Village Inn. Nothing fancy, but we had good conversation and a lot of laughs! Just like best friends do!

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
It became real the moment we had to say goodbye at the airport. We were sitting there talking to one another as really good friends, and when it was time for him to go to his gate, he turned to wave and I lost it. I was bawling uncontrollably! I had never experienced this feeling before! I had no idea what to do with myself! I even said to myself, “What do I do now?” We both felt like our spirits had been torn apart. Our spirits definitely bonded during that trip. When your relationship becomes spiritual and not just physical, you know someone bigger has His hand in it. How will you know if he/she is the one? You just know!

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
Never ever lower your standards or be someone who you are not online or in person. I was done settling for less than what I knew God had planned for me. I never expected to meet my husband online. I joined through curiosity after seeing a commercial I had awoken to at midnight one night. I had no intentions of contacting or responding to anyone on here, but man! What one smile can do! Our tests matched 99.8%. All glory to God for bringing us together! I’m so glad we can call each other best friends as well as husband and wife.
