How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Ken and I met on ChristianMingle in May 2015. We had both lost our partners after over 30 years of marriage and believed that God may have someone out there for us.

I lived in Barbados for most of the year and Ken lived in Canada, so our first three months after meeting on ChristianMingle were spent on the computer and the phone. We soon realized that our values and interests were VERY alike. Most of all, we realized that the most important thing in our lives was our relationship with God. Three months after meeting online, I traveled to Canada and Ken met me at the airport. As Ken says, after that first meeting at the airport we knew this was “on.”

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
We honestly believe it was confirmed to us that it was true love on my first visit to Canada.
Our first date turned out to be wonderful and amazing! Our excitement for our relationship grew and made us aware that something amazing and wonderful was happening to us! We began to realize that we were falling in love with each other and wanted to see each other as often as possible!

We felt that God had brought us together, and even though Christian Mingle had us rated as a 100% match, we did not really believe it until we got to know each other and realized how much we had in common. We met in May 2015 and were married in Barbados in May 2016.

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
We would advise members of ChristianMingle to pray before chatting with anyone. Ask God to lead you to the right person. After that, use the great tools provided on the site to seek someone of similar interests, values and goals in life. Take it one step at a time. ChristianMingle is just the “introduction” – you won’t really know the person until you meet face to face. ChristianMingle is a great starting point!
