At first, Abnel didn’t want to meet face to face right away, and I wanted to meet to make sure he looked like his pictures, I was worried about being cat-fished, LOL! He actually stopped calling for about two weeks, so I wrote him off.

One day, I got a text from him asking if I’d like to meet for dinner. I didn’t want to go at first, but my partner teacher insisted that I give him a chance. I went on the date thinking it would be our first and last because of the way we hadn’t spoken for two weeks. I am so glad I went. We met at one of my favorite restaurants, Rosie’s Wine Bar. As I waited for him to arrive, I thought in my head, “How am I going to let him have it?” The moment he walked into the restaurant, I forgot everything I had planned on saying in my head! I think I may have forgotten my name.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Abnel told me he was coming there to meet me so that I would be satisfied that we met and that his friend was on standby to give a get-out-of-a-date call! But he told me when he walked in and I have to honestly say, I think I knew it was true love when our eyes locked on the first date.

Follow the 3 Ps: always Pray, be Positive and be Patient. We both tried other sites and looked at ChristianMingle as the last try. I didn’t expect to find my love so soon or even at all. I thought I’d date nice guys who were spiritual like me and loved the Lord. But I received so much more, praise God!
