I met Seth, a wonderful man, on ChristianMingle in May of 2012. Our relationship was a long-distance communication because he lived in Pennsylvania and I lived in Oklahoma. He flew to Oklahoma so that we could meet in person and see if this was worth pursuing. We knew that there was a solid connection when the weekend was over and we didn’t want it to end! We communicated every day from that point through video chat. We both worked the night shift and got off at 4:30am and then we would video chat for 2 hours every day without fail as soon as we got off work.

I went to Pennsylvania to meet his family in July, and we knew that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We told our kids we wanted to be married in the fall. We then decided to elope because all of our kids are spread out all over in the US and it was just easier to have a simple wedding. They were all great and very happy for us. Seth moved to Oklahoma and we drove to New Mexico to elope. We were married November 30, 2012. We still work the nightshift but at the same place now. We leave each other love notes in our lockers for the other one to read during our breaks. We can’t thank ChristianMingle enough. We would never have met had it not been for ChristianMingle!
