How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
We met on January 7, 2012, after emailing for one week. Russ was very sweet and respectful, but I wasn’t quite sure if he was interested in anything past emailing. When I told him what I was wondering, he immediately asked me out to dinner for the next night. He was invested since he was in Orange County and I was in Las Vegas. He flew out and took me to Maestros Ocean Club. We talked for six hours and closed the place down. He stayed at the Hyatt that night, but didn’t spend much time there as we were out late and met up again early. He invited me to breakfast prior to church the next morning. I knew he was interested when he was trying to buy more time by renting a car and driving back to Orange County instead of flying. I knew when he left that I would see him again soon.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
There wasn’t a specific moment, but an overall feeling. It was within the first month. There was such peace and calmness surrounding our entire relationship. Our friends and families were involved and included and supportive of us. He had an intention to meet all my friends and ask them what they thought I needed and how he could best serve me. I was amazed that not only was there someone so wonderful, but that he was actually the embodiment of his profile. He was wonderful, confident and humble all at the same time. He is my hero and white knight all wrapped into one!

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
This is only part of the journey. Don’t neglect all the other areas of your life just to focus on finding love. Seek contentment because when he does find you, that sweetheart will appreciate a contented, peaceful woman.
