2014 is a new year, and with it comes new shows! We’ve gathered details on some of the hottest family-friendly shows that will make their debut during 2014 (all times are Eastern).

I Didn’t Do It

Disney Channel

Meet twins Lindy and Logan Watson, plus their best friends, Delia, Jasmine and Garrett, as the siblings each explain from their own perspectives how they got into one crazy predicament or another. Not surprisingly, the common refrain they’ll tell their parents is, “I didn’t do it!” I Didn’t Do It stars Olivia Holt and Austin North.

The show premieres at 9:40 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. Beginning Friday, Jan. 26, it will move to 8:30 p.m., which will its regular time slot.

American Dream Builders

NBC

On this new reality series from NBC, two teams, comprised of experts in the field, will compete to undertake the best extreme home renovations. The projects will include landscaping, architecture, building and more.

Host Nate Berkus and a panel of experts will judge their accomplishments. Each week, the losing team will send home one member, and in the finale, the two remaining competitors will fight for the ultimate victory. He or she won’t be the only winner, though! Two dream homes will be given away to viewers.

A premiere date for American Dream Builders has not yet been announced.

Chasing Life

ABC Family

April, played by Italia Ricci, is a journalist in her 20s, working hard to get ahead in her career and in life. In addition to work, her days are also filled with time with her grandmother, mother and younger sister, plus a developing new romance. Just as she feels she’s getting a handle on life, a cancer diagnosis changes everything.

Chasing Life is coming to ABC Family soon, but the exact time and date for the premiere hasn’t been released.

Go Viral

Nickelodeon

In this in-studio game show from Ryan Seacrest Productions, kid contestants will compete in challenges related to viral videos. Game examples include speculating how a video will end or predicting how popular it will be among audience members.

Forty half-hour episodes of Go Viral have been ordered so far. Nickelodeon will begin airing them in Summer 2014.

Killer Islands

Animal Planet

Visit some of the world’s most remote islands with wildlife expert Dave Salmoni in this new, six-part series. On his adventures, Salmoni will investigate how the animals that live on or around these islands have survived long-term in such harsh conditions. Animals featured will include hammerhead sharks, vampire bats and grizzly bears.

As you watch this fascinating exploration of creation, you may be reminded of Job’s words in Job 12:7-9: “But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall teach thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this?”

In many countries around the world, you can catch Killer Islands on the Discovery Channel during Spring 2014, but if you live in the United States, you’ll have to wait until Summer 2014, when it will air on Animal Planet.

Win, Lose or Draw

Disney Channel

The Disney Channel is bringing back the classic game show, Win, Lose or Draw, but they’re putting their own spin on it. Each team will have two kid contestants, plus a Disney star. Cupcake Wars‘ Justin Willman will be the host.

Win, Lose or Draw won’t enter regular programming until later in the year, but catch a sneak peek at 10:10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 17. Olivia Holt and Leo Howard will be the guest stars in that episode.

2014 will be a year for many new shows, one of which might become your family’s new favorite. Which of these programs will your family be tuning into?
