William and I met on Christianmingle.com on November 6, 2012. He sent me a ‘Smile’ and I sent one back!

We began emailing back and forth, getting to know one another by sharing our life stories. Soon we began texting one another, then actual phone conversations began a couple of weeks later. We would talk for hours! Finally, on November 30, 2012 we went on our first date! Since William lived a few hours away, in Fort Bragg North Carolina where he was stationed, I made the four-hour drive just to meet him face-to-face.

We were nervous at first, but by the end of the date we were incredibly comfortable with one another, and by the end of the weekend I knew in my heart this was the man God intended for me to marry! We entered into a committed relationship, and fell in love almost immediately. On March 23, 2013 at his military ball, Will asked me to marry him and I said yes!

We were married on November 30, 2013, the one year anniversary of our first date! And, on February 27, 2015, we welcomed our precious daughter Paisley!!!
