When I first decided to try using a dating website, I didn’t know which one to join. I prayed about it for a month or so when I realized that God was telling me to join ChristianMingle. I hadn’t heard of ChristianMingle until I started praying but once I did, I started seeing ads and commercials everywhere! I knew that God was telling me that that was the site I was supposed to use and sure enough, less than a month later, I met Adam!

It was November 21, 2011 when he first “smiled” at me. I was thrilled about this because his profile page was really interesting! Our interactions officially started when we used ChristianMingle’s online chatting service. Then, after about 3 weeks of chatting, we exchanged phone numbers. During our phone calls, we talked for hours at a time and learned more about each other. After our initial conversations, we excitedly made plans to meet in person!

Our first date was on December 17, 2011 and we decided to meet up for some Christmas shopping and dinner. Adam and I connected right away and we both knew this was something special! A week and a half after our first date, I invited Adam to meet my immediate family during a Christmas gathering on Christmas Eve even though it was only the second time I had hung out with him! Afterwards, on Christmas day, we made our relationship official!

We have so enjoyed the process of getting to know one another and falling in love and about 11 months after meeting on ChristianMingle, we got engaged when Adam proposed at a state park. He had it so planned out that we now have the whole proposal photographed and on videotape! I was completely surprised and ecstatic and I’m so glad that I’m now engaged to the person I love most in the world! All that I can say is, God is good!

Adam and I are getting married on May 25, 2013 and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together. We are so thankful that God both brought us to ChristianMingle. Honestly, we couldn’t imagine our lives without one another and ChristianMingle was truly an answer to our prayers.
