How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Justin sent the first smile. We started exchanging emails on ChristianMingle and we couldn’t stop. We would talk every single day!

After three days writing emails, we exchanged phone numbers. It took us a week to be able to set up a lunch date, and I was so nervous. When we met for lunch, we hit it off! We both were jittery, excited and had butterflies. He had been on ChristianMingle for a few months and I was going into my third week with no luck yet and suddenly, there he was. I remember thinking how no one had ever made me genuinely feel quite as happy as I felt being around him and I loved myself and how I felt.

For me, it was like a flash of lightening and I instantly knew. We both had been burned in the past, and I knew he would be harder to convince. On our very first date, we hugged like old friends and I thought to myself, “How am I going to get him to be just mine forever?” He said he felt such a strong emotional connection, he didn’t want the date to end.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
He told me he loved me after our third date, and I was so afraid I wouldn’t make him happy and be all he needed. I asked God to help and guide me, and suddenly all my fears faded away. I lived for every date, for every phone call. Justin became my best friend, and then I fell in love with him.

I remember the exact moment I realized he was the one. It was like an amazing understanding that I knew where God wanted me to be and what he wanted me to do with my life.

I had a daughter; she was four and it was just us. Justin loved her and taught her to trust and love him, and they couldn’t be closer now.

He proposed to me on Christmas morning 2014. The ring was inside a small box which was in a bigger box and so forth. I had to open five boxes to get to the ring. I was in tears as he asked me to be his wife.

Now, we have another daughter together and we couldn’t be more blessed and thankful to ChristianMingle and God for bringing us together and helping our family.

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
He is still my best friend and makes me laugh and smile. Our faith together as husband and wife has grown so much just this past year alone, and our marriage is physically and spiritually everything I ever wished for.
