I (Steven) decided to join ChristianMingle in the summer of 2012.  When I finally saw Megan’s profile in October, I knew she was someone that I’d like to get to know.   After chatting a few times online, I decided to ask Megan to meet in person.  On October 12, we met face-to-face for the first time.  Megan later told me in a letter that she knew from the first time she saw me that I was “the one.”  After three dates, I told Megan that I was not ready for a relationship.  We were apart for about a month, and used this time to grow individually in our walks with Christ.  In the beginning of December, I texted Megan and asked if she would like to meet for coffee the next day.   We met for coffee again, and I learned that Megan had moved her horse to a barn near my house while we were apart, even though she had had no idea where I lived.  We spent the rest of December getting to know each other and becoming great friends.  On January 13, I asked Megan to enter into a relationship with me.  Over the next few months our love for one another grew immensely.  I decided that I wanted to spend the rest of my life with Megan, and on October 12, 2013, I asked her to marry me.  She said yes, and we are getting married on May 31, 2014.  I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life best friend.
