Who did you go to first when you were in a crisis?

This is a question that, for most believers, would tell you that they already know the answer. But, in looking back over your life when you were faced with difficulties, challenges or troubles, although you say you already know the best person to go to was God, yet because of frustration, desperation, impatience and pressure, you sought help from other resources. When you seek help from man first before first going to God, you can wind up going to the wrong person, and all your business is out on the street.

Nobody else can help you like God can. Since He is the governor of the world, he knows to whom or where we can go for help. He knows where the resources are and can utilize His resources to help us with what we need, in due time.

Satan will try to keep your eyes on your troubles to discourage you, but look away from your troubles, look up to Heaven and take your troubles to the Lord in prayer. Look up expecting a resolution.

Learn that no matter how difficult things may get, or how bad it looks, seek God first for His help, not as a secondary resource, not as a plan B, not after you tried it your way, but first and foremost. You will save yourself a lot of time, aggravation and headache.

“I will lift up my eyes unto the hills, from where comes my help. My help comes from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. ” - Psalms 121:1-2
