Lucy and I met on ChristianMingle on December 1, 2012 and after several messages, we decided to call each other. During our first call, we talked on the phone for 5 hours and we both felt an immediate connection. We scheduled a date on December 3, 2012 and went to a movie and dinner.

I could not wait to see Lucy again so I called her and asked if I could come over to help her put up Christmas decorations. When she said yes, it was the beginning of a trusting relationship. We both had been praying to be in a relationship before the end of the year. We managed to see each other every day during the month of December. We brought in 2013 at our friends’ house, and when I took Lucy home, I proposed to her. She was totally floored.  Our wedding day is set for September 14, 2013! We both thank God for allowing ChristianMingle to unite us together.
