In March I found this site and thought I would give it a shot. I had been divorced and alone for three years. I didn’t feel like I needed to be with someone but I did want to be in a relationship again. I also knew that God wanted me to be married again someday when I was ready but only He would know when the time was right.
Apparently it was the right time because I received an email from a beautiful woman and we had an instant connection. We exchanged emails for a few weeks then phone numbers. We would talk to each other everyday by either phone or email, most days both.
In May we made plans to meet. I didn’t know what to expect so I really didn’t have any expectations. We had a great time and started seeing each other every chance we could. That wasn’t very often because I lived in Minnesota and she lived in Missouri.
In June I packed up everything and left my old life behind to move to be with her. We are engaged and plan to be married on January 1st. We thought that to be a good date to set because we would be starting the new year off right.
