I’m a single mom as well as a soldier. Finding time to date while juggling two full time responsibilities is easier said than done. In January, I moved with my son from Minnesota to Florida and found that meeting new people was difficult. That’s when I decided to join ChristianMingle!

In February, I met a wonderful, funny, smart, and caring man on the site. We had both been divorced and had concerns about meeting someone new. After a month of exchanging emails, chatting, and talking on the phone, we finally decided to meet. Our first date was a success and we have been together ever since!

In November, we took a road trip together and on top of the Smokey Mountains, he got down on his knee and asked me to marry him! Our wedding is scheduled for February 2013, and we cannot wait! My son absolutely adores him and my very broken family is about to be made whole. It has been amazing to see God’s hands in our lives and watch Him show us how through each decision, He is ALWAYS with us and is ALWAYS in control! God’s plans are amazing and it’s been wonderful to look back and see His work! Our families are beyond excited and cannot wait to share in our day!
