I decided to give ChristianMingle another chance and signed up for a one month membership. The day I signed up, I started communicating with a member named Jonathan. Jonathan and I met on May 16th for a cup of coffee — I left that meeting knowing I had met The One that God wanted for me!

We have been together ever since, and on August 30th, the love of my life asked me to be his wife! Without one second of hesitation, I said yes. We will be married on June 4th, 2016.

Jonathan and I  have so much in common — we were raised in the same state (Alaska), we are both single parents of teenagers, we both enjoy the outdoors and being active, we have both been single for about the same amount of time, we both work in the same town, we are both Christians who believe that faith is important in our daily lives and with our families, and to top it off we have lived only 8 miles away from each other for the past three years!

I know for a fact that if it had not been for your site I would have never met the man of my dreams!  We know that God wanted us to meet — we just never imagined it would be because of your site! We are excited for the plan God has gifted us with and we know that our future together holds “far, far better things than anything we have left behind.”
