Rod and I met on ChristianMingle on July 31, 2008. It might sound like a cliché but we just knew right from the beginning that we were a perfect match. Rod was a little hesitant to send me that first smile because of the fact that I lived 1,500 miles away, but he went with his gut instinct and it turned out to be right on.

We talked for hours upon hours on the phone for 3 months until we finally met in person. We were already great friends who were attracted to each other on the phone but when we finally met face to face, it was love at first sight! Almost a year later, I moved to Denver to be closer to him in hopes that our long distance relationship would be even better in person. It totally was! In June 2010, Rod proposed to me and on March 19, 2011 we were married in a beautiful ceremony overlooking the Rocky Mountains of Colorado.

I want to thank the Lord Jesus Christ and ChristianMingle for bringing me such a kind, caring, and God-fearing man of my dreams who treats me like a princess and a sister in Christ.
