I joined ChristianMingle in the early summer of 2013 with the hope of finding a truly godly lady who could complete me as a person and begin a life-long journey of love and hope together. On July 18th, after several unsuccessful attempts at dating on other sites, I came across the profile of an angel, only to discover that she lived in Minnesota and I was way down south in Alabama! I wrote her a short note letting her know that some guy was going to be extremely fortunate to find her and to just generally encourage her, never expecting her to reply or even be remotely interested. Much to my surprise, Julie did respond, and over the next month we talked every day for as long as 8 hours each day!

I can honestly say that I fell in love with who she was without ever having met her, and when we finally decided for her to “fly south” and meet in person, she was everything and more than I could have hoped for! She decided to move to Alabama, got an apartment and a job, and on Christmas Eve, I proposed.

We were married in a very small courthouse affair on January 2, 2014, and we feel like kids again. God is and continues to be so great to us, and we thank Him for bringing hope back into both of our lives. This would not have been possible without ChristianMingle, so we are both indebted to your organization for giving us a second chance at love!

My advice to anyone searching is to simply allow God to make it happen. His word says that if we seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, then ALL these other things will be added to you. We’d both been seeking His perfect will for our lives, and He truly blessed us, even though we were literally a thousand miles apart! Continue to trust Him and He will not disappoint you.
