“Do you consider me geographically undesirable?” was the first question posed to me by Jerry in July of 2007. Jerry lived in Kentucky and I lived in Pennsylvania. I had not been on Christian Mingle for very long, but Jerry’s amusing first contact had me interested. We soon were e-mailing and talking on the phone. For our first date, we met half way in Charleston, WV. Instantly, I was charmed by Jerry’s green eyes and fascinating personality. Our date was picture perfect. We enjoyed a nice dinner and walk around the city. After our first date, we kept in contact by e-mail and phone calls; and about once a month we would meet. Before we knew it, we fell in love. My friends would ask if a long distance relationship was difficult or even worth it, and I guess when you find that special someone, you are willing to work through any obstacles. It was difficult to be far apart, but we made it work. Last September, Jerry asked me to marry him. We are getting married in May at a beautiful garden location.

I guess I don’t have to tell you how I responded to Jerry’s “geographically undesirable” question. I will tell you that I am very happy geography did not keep us apart. You just never know when and where you will find love. I just so happened to find my Love in Kentucky. After the wedding, I will be “geographically relocated” – in Kentucky.
