I had thought that my chance at love was over. I had been married and divorced twice before and had tried the other dating sites with no luck. One day, I was at home and saw one of the ChristianMingle commercials and thought “Why not try it?” I joined a few days later on February 8, 2012.

I got a message from Geneva which said: “Your profile brought a smile to my face. If you are interested, contact me.” We talked back and forth through the site for about a week and then via email. We then set up a place and time to meet in person. We sat and talked for several hours. After that we set up an official date. We went to dinner and a movie, then sat and talked some more.

As we were leaving, I leaned in and kissed her. At that moment, I knew she was my future. As I was driving home, the song “Just a Kiss” by Lady Antebellum came on the radio. It was perfect. I bought it and emailed it to Geneva. It became our song. In May of 2012, we got engaged. Then on June 22, 2013 we got married. It has been the most wonderful time of my life. I can say that my life began when I met Geneva.
