How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
For our very first date, we met at my church. We attended the 8:45 am service and decided to meet in the lobby. Our awesome door greeters met him and embraced him immediately. They asked him many questions once they found out it was our first date. He thought I planned for them to interrogate him, but I did not plan it. I believe that everything that happens in God’s house happens for a reason.

After the church service, we decided to do breakfast. He followed me to our breakfast location at Mimi’s Cafe. He brought me a gift which was a poem that he wrote for me and had framed in a very nice picture frame. That breakfast was awesome. During the three-hour breakfast, we discovered that all of our conversations during the previous three months were coming to fruition. I learned that his spoken words were just as genuine as his actions.

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
I knew it was true love during our three-month correspondence. Before I even heard his voice, I knew that he was the one that I was supposed to continue on this life’s journey with as partners. At one point in our three-month conversation, he shared with me some of his family challenges, and I just knew this was a situation that I could help him through, I could support him through and I could love him through. Learning his character over the phone, I learned that he was the man that could love me through all of my own personal challenges in a very supportive way!
