My name is Erin and my husband, Aaron, and I met on ChristianMingle! Did you just do a double take? Well, you read correctly! My husband and I have the same name. We are Aaron and Erin. We started talking on the site in December of 2008. In January of 2009, Aaron asked if he could call me and I gave him my number. We started talking every night and it wasn’t but a few weeks later that he asked if I would be willing to meet him.

I was living south of Kansas City, MO at the time and he was in Lexington, KY. We agreed to meet in St. Louis, MO for our first date on February 21, 2009. We had a great first date! We went to the arch, saw a St. Louis Blues Hockey game, and had dinner with one of Aaron’s best friends and his wife. I knew the day we met face-to-face that I was going to marry Aaron!

After our weekend together, we went home and decided we would make it “official”. We saw each other at least once a month, sometimes twice. Long distance relationships are hard, but I think our time apart only made our relationship stronger. In September of 2009, I was in Lexington visiting Aaron. We had just been at a friend’s house for a Labor Day party when Aaron took me to a park. The next thing I knew, Aaron was on one knee asking me to marry him. Of course I said yes!

That October, I moved to Lexington and we started planning our wedding. We were married on August 7, 2010 and it was the best day of my life! Aaron and I are so grateful that God and ChristianMingle.com brought us together. We have been together for almost 2 years now! Sometimes I feel like we’ve been together longer than 2 years, but I’ll tell you one thing, I am so blessed to have found the perfect man!
