How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Kelton and I met online on ChristianMingle. We had a long distance relationship for a year since I lived in Arizona and he lived in Louisiana. It all started when I sent him a smiley face online and he automatically replied with a “hey.” After a year, we never thought that we would see each other because we both were in our first year of college and did not have the finances. Even though we had those thoughts running through our heads, we always turned to God and asked him for guidance and knew if this is meant to be, it will be.

Well, it came to October 16, 2014 and Kelton had asked me to be his girlfriend because he knew no matter what he will get to Arizona and spend the rest of his life with me. At this point, we knew that God had major plans for our future and knew to take each day at a time and everything will fall into place. Come December 1st, Kelton sent me a message with his flight information to come down to Arizona to meet me in person and to celebrate New Year’s together! On December 30, Kelton arrived in Arizona and I was nervous as can be but excited and full of joy. The moment we saw each other in the airport, we knew we were in love!

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
The moment we knew our love was true was the moment we saw each other in person after talking online for two years and then finally getting to meet face to face. We literally sat in the middle of the airport hugging each other. Knowing that we both knew what we wanted in a relationship and our futures literally was amazing.

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
Advice that we give to other ChristianMingle members would be put God number one in your life and relationship; know who you are as an individual and never settle for less than what you deserve; and lastly, do not ever think online dating is impossible, because myself and my two sisters all found our soulmates through online dating and do not regret one moment of it!
