I joined ChristianMingle this past January after my daughters encouraged me to do so.  I never believed in online dating, but thought I would give it a try.  Debra, who is now my finance, had a friend who took her pictures and paid for the membership.  She had tried online dating once, but it didn’t work out.  My membership was actually expiring when I noticed her profile. 

To make a long story short, we went to lunch several times and then met for dinner. This started a romance and a love that has grown stronger and stronger every day.  I asked Debra to marry me on August 17th in the mountains of Red River, New Mexico at a cowboy dinner.  We are getting married February 22, 2014. 

Thank-you from the bottom of my heart for providing me with a way to meet the love of my life.  I am sixty-six and had been divorced for sixteen years.  She is sixty and been divorced for seven years.  It is a true love story and I thank God everyday for my beautiful and lovely Debra. The next season of our lives will definitely be the best.
