Charlie and I each spent about 3 years trying to find someone special. We each wanted a person with similar values and interests, who knew how to love and be loved, and most importantly, someone who  loved God and want to know Him more and more. Despite our efforts, neither of us could find anyone and it seemed like “the good ones” were all taken!

Last year, we each decided to give ChristianMingle a try and we are so glad we did! Just a few weeks after I joined the service, I started communicating with Charlie. The first time we met, I knew that something special was in the air and we couldn’t get enough of each other.

Our first date was supposed to be a casual afternoon coffee but it turned into dinner, bowling and live music! We felt so connected, it was incredible!  It felt right! To make the long story short, Charlie and I went out again on the next day, and the next day, and the next day and pretty much every day since.

We couldn’t be happier! We got engaged last month and we are getting married September 29th! Without ChristianMingle, we would probably still out there looking for someone and praying for God’s help! One thing I’ve learned is that God helps but we have to do our part. We have to pray for God’s direction and act on it!
