The Lord works in mysterious ways. He truly blessed Robert & Christine to cross paths in His time and in His way. They credit ChristianMingle.com for connecting like-minded Christians, such as themselves, who desire someone who loves the Lord and who lives according to Christian principles.

Once connected via ChristianMingle in July 2013, both Robert and Christine started as friends who prayed and studied the Bible together. Within a few months, both started dating more seriously, and they were soon recognized as a couple by their family and friends. Ultimately, God’s plan prevailed as their friendship blossomed into a triune relationship, whereby Christ is the center!

On January 28, 2014 while at the theater watching a movie called Gimme Shelter, one of the characters in the movie repeatedly stated, “I can do this,” at which time, Rob pulled out the ring and proposed to Christine, while mimicking the character in the movie, saying “I can do this. I can do this.” LOL!  With great joy, she happily accepted his proposal.

Robert was born and raised in Holiness, and at the age of 12, he received the Holy Ghost and was on fire for the Lord. He wanted everyone to know about this man named Jesus.

At the age of 16, he turned his back on the Lord and hit the streets with all he had. Unfortunately, Robert joined a gang, sold drugs, and used them too, being lost in the devil’s playground for many years. One day, God said, “That’s enough,” and completely delivered him from the gangs, the drugs, and the alcohol, all in one day. THANK YOU, GOD!

Now Robert’s mess became his message. God is a Deliverer, a Healer, a Keeper, and Robert is a living witness. He is back on track and running with all that he has for the Lord.

With Robert’s perseverance and a song of praise in his heart, “I Don’t Feel Noways Tired,” he pressed forward to become an ordained Deacon and then an ordained Minister. Now Robert is an ordained Elder who teaches, mentors, and serves God’s people. Several years ago, he became a Correctional Officer in the state of Georgia. Recently, he received his Associate Degree of Christian Studies from the Sure Foundation Theological Institute. Robert is also the founder and CEO of Another Chance Ministries Inc., which is a non-profit organization that helps people understand the complete delivering power of God according to Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

At the early age of 12, Christine gave her life to the Lord and received His precious gift of the Holy Spirit. With a favorite song of praise in her heart, “Lord Give Me a Clean Heart So I May Serve Thee,” she weathered many storms. Although she encountered many trials and tribulations along the way, she remained steadfast in her love for God and in her desire to be a Christian. One of her favorite scriptures is Philippians 4:13 that rendered strength and fortitude through dark times, “I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me.” As a result, she has accomplished a great deal and has made a difference in the lives of others.

Christine has earned her B.S. degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and an M.B.A program from University of New Mexico/Arizona State University. Recently at Grand Canyon University, she has started her Ph.D. academic journey in General Psychology, with emphasis in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Her pursuit aligns with her background of 25 years, whereby she has also taught secondary education, earning certification in Business & Marketing, Family & Consumer Sciences, Cooperative Education, English, and Reading. Additionally, she has worked in the field of Strategic Contracts Management for large organizations, started a real estate consulting company, and created two Christian nonprofit organizations in which she continues to lead, as a Chief Executive Officer.

Having the love for the Lord at the age of 12 is a true connection between them! Both Robert & Christine have learned from their past and look forward to their future, as they embrace the 3 C’s of their triune relationship: Christ, Communication & Compromise. Insomuch, their faith is strengthened, as the Lord paves the way for them to do more wondrous works in other ministries together!
