I read Josh’s profile and immediately reached out to him with a simple smile. His response was timely and very polite. It only took two days until we started calling each other on the phone. Our conversations lasted for hours and they were full of purpose and meaning. We connected spiritually and intellectually right from the start.
After two weeks of talking on the phone, we met in Rawlins, Wyoming. We were both nervous to the point of not being able to string together a sentence and walking with an uncoordinated gait. But after one hour or so, we finally came back down to earth a little and we were able to pick up where we left off on the phone. On our first date, we went shopping, played basketball, watched a movie and went out for pizza. I knew that he was the guy I had spent a decade looking for. I have never met anyone as genuinely kind as Josh.
I appreciate ChristianMingle for bringing us together. We started talking on September 17, 2016. We met in person on October 1, 2016, got engaged on November 25, 2016 and married on May 28, 2017. It’s the best decision I have ever made! God continues to bless us every day. Undoubtedly, Josh is the man God intended for me. We have a wonderful life together. Josh was worth the wait!
Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
I knew it was true love when we started praying together on the phone every night, and when we were able to support each other in every possible way. Josh is charming and sweet, but what sealed the deal was his Christ-like mentality. There are a million reasons why he is the one, but our individual faith and our spiritual connection is the strongest reason why we were able to happily commit to one another for a lifetime.

God has a plan for your future marriage, and when it begins to unfold, it is far better than any fairy tale.
