How did you meet? What was your first date like? Give us all the details!
Long story short, I sent a “wink face” to Bryan Derek on ChristianMingle, resulting in our first date a few days later on October 27, 2012. Our first date was awesome, and 11 months later we got engaged at the same restaurant and same table as our very first date! We just clicked, and we were both very open from the beginning, which eventually led to an amazing marriage and love!

Describe the moment you knew it was true love!
Honestly, it wasn’t an “ah ha!” moment where I knew Bryan Derek was the one, it just sort of evolved over the first few months we were dating, which led to us being engaged 11 months later and then married a year after that. However, the entire time we were dating, I knew that God was watching over me and he never once shied me away from Bryan Derek!

What advice would you give other ChristianMingle members?
Be true to yourself, and don’t settle! Make a promise to yourself that you are going to go into each date with an open mind while being 100% yourself. Be proud of who God made you!
