The truth is, I have never believed in online dating. I joined ChristianMingle just to see what it was all about! I gave it about a week and decided it wasn’t for me, or so I thought. The last day before I canceled my subscription, I met Ashley. She is now my very life, my bright morning star, and someone whom I can’t possibly fathom living without!

We are currently engaged and have plans to be married this fall. Not only am I going to be a husband to a beautiful wife, but a father to three wonderful kids as well! We have been through so much in such a short time together! Shortly after we began dating, I found out my dad had terminal cancer and the doctors said he didn’t have long to live. We were able to make him a part of our lives because he was present when I proposed to Ashley in front of him!

Through this experience, I have truly learned what love is through the gift God has given me in Ashley.
