I joined ChristianMingle back in August of 2012. I had just moved to Texas and wanted to get out and meet new people. I was a single mom, so I knew I was not able to go out and meet people like most do.

I went on ChristianMingle, went on a few dates with different people, and then I saw Andrew’s profile. I stared at it for a long time wondering if I should contact him. I didn’t, but luckily the site lets you know when someone was looking at your page so he contacted me! We talked for only a day before meeting up on August 12th. We went on a few dates and decided to just be friends. I started going on dates again, and I tried to set him up with my best friend. Luckily, he stayed around and didn’t give up on me, because I later realized I made a huge mistake. So, we began dating in late August. We dated for over a year; he had to get over a lot of fears of marriage and I had to get past a lot of hurt. He asked me to marry him on Easter Sunday, 2013, at Chuy’s Restaurant. I said yes!!!

We got married in a beautiful barn on November 2nd, 2013 with the last beautiful weather of the year. My daughter is now finally able to call someone daddy, and got the daddy she has deserved all these years. And I was able to marry my best friend! He is the most wonderful man. And I am proud to say we have been together almost three years now, and still have never had a fight!! We found our soul mates. I would have never found this happiness without joining ChristianMingle.
