Andrew and I met on ChristianMingle in November of 2011. I had re-located to Kentucky for work, and had a very difficult time meeting people. I signed up for ChristianMingle after a sermon at church in which the pastor said that God wanted no one to be alone. Although, I wasn’t a big advocate of online dating I thought I’d give it a shot. Andrew was one of the first people I was “matched” with, but neither one of us had paid the full subscription, which made communicating very difficult. Even though I couldn’t talk to him, I couldn’t get him out of my mind. I eventually found him on Facebook, and sent him a message.

After exchanging various messages, he eventually asked me to meet him for dinner and of course I complied. I can still remember what he was wearing and the way that he smiled when we first met. It was then that I knew he was special. He didn’t have a boisterous personality, but somehow we managed to talk throughout the entire dinner. After our first date, we began seeing each other on a regular basis, and became inseparable.

In April of 2012 I let him know that I was leaving Kentucky and re-locating to Ohio for a new position. He took the news in stride, and continued to drive to Cincinnati several days a week just to spend time with me! I knew we had the makings of something special and in June of 2012, Andrew got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. Of course I said yes! We are getting married on October of this year. I am so happy— I couldn’t have asked for a better man.

I truly believe both of our prayers were answered when we met each other. We are compatible in so many ways and can’t wait to see what God has in store for us. We can’t thank God and ChristianMingle enough for allowing us to find each other!
