We first made contact on ChristianMingle on January 19, 2012. At first, we sent “sparks” to one another and then started chatting on February 23, 2012. We met for the first time while I was driving a motor coach. It was hard at first because we lived an hour and a half apart, Chris was working third shift, and I was frequently on the road with my job. We talked on the phone a lot and texted all of the time in order to keep in touch.

When it was possible, we met up a few times. During one of my jobs, I went to Miami, drove to Georgia, and then drove all the way back to Illinois. After arriving home, I went to my apartment, got fresh clothes, and drove another two hours to see him!

On Mother’s Day 2012, we got engaged. In June, I quit my job, packed up and moved to be closer to him. We were married on January 12, 2013 and bought a house together. We could not be any happier than we are now!
