I was just about to cancel my membership when Angelia sent the first “smile” my way on ChristianMingle. I decided to take a chance, even though I had given up on finding that special love. At 35 years old, I thought I was too old to find someone to spend the rest of my life with. I decided to try with Angelia and we hit it off right away. We exchanged phone numbers after a couple of weeks and ended up talking for hours on end every night. We met about one month later on Easter Sunday at my church. I was playing Jesus in our Easter Cantata and Angelia wanted to see me in the play.

I decided to take our relationship slow and see what happened. She told me after we were engaged that for her it was love at first sight! But, I am a lot more cautious than she is! I was afraid of getting hurt, so I took my time. She was patient and understanding with me throughout our dating relationship. As time went on, I found myself being able to open my heart a little more each day and I proposed to Angelia on September 19, 2012 in front of the church where we met and now both attend. We were married on January 26, 2013 in that same church! Thank you for introducing me to my “Angel”. We are very happy together and we have ChristianMingle to thank for that!
