It was October 26, 2012 and we were both feeling discouraged and doubtful about dating and wondered if we would ever meet our match. Anthony was living in West Palm Beach and I was living in St. Petersburg. It all started thanks to ChristianMingle. Anthony’s parents were encouraging him to stay on the site and I had just signed up with a subscription after my birthday in October. We connected instantly on every level and it was apparent that something special was on the horizon. We started communicating through e-mail and instant messenger. After a week of communication through ChristianMingle, we took the next step and began talking everyday on video chat and over the phone. Two weeks later, Anthony asked me if I’d like to meet for dinner at the Pier in St Petersburg. Anthony drove up to St Pete (about 3 1/2 hours from West Palm Beach) and we had dinner and sat at the dock of a bay for a few hours. Our first date was terrific! Conversation flowed so well. While we were sitting at the dock of a bay, Anthony asked me if I’d like to meet the following day after I finished a shift at my job.

After that weekend, Anthony traveled over to St. Petersburg almost every weekend to see me and to spend time with me and my family. It was always difficult for us to part during the commuting days because Anthony eventually had to drive back to West Palm Beach. Our love for each other blossomed into something so beautiful that only God could ever orchestrate. Additionally, an overwhelming sense of peace was felt immediately after both sets of parents met. It was so apparent that the hand of God was moving in such a way that everyone was comforted with pure joy. The weekend commute lasted for about four months until we agreed it would be best for Anthony to move to St. Petersburg in March to start a new chapter in our relationship… Spring has sprung and love is in the air!

Thank you so much ChristianMingle for providing the platform for us to meet! We thank God everyday and are so excited about our wedding coming up on October 26, 2013.
